hoits2000 Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Last year I was over seas on black friday so I couldn't be in line. But this year will be my first year of staying out all night to wait in line for something. And that thing is a big screen from Circuit City. I have been saving up my reward point gift cerificates towards it already, and I need a big screen for the bears game. Im not sure if I want flat or projection. I guess we'll see. What kind of deals did they have last year? Anybody know.
RossMAN Posted October 2, 2006 Posted October 2, 2006 Im not sure if I want flat or projection. What's your budget and what size are you looking for? DLP will offer the most bang for your buck, go for 50" or larger. What kind of deals did they have last year? Anybody know.BF 2005 list - http://forums.gottadeal.com/showthread.php?t=47429
hoits2000 Posted October 2, 2006 Author Posted October 2, 2006 I definitely want over a 50 inch. I see they had a 51 inch for 800 last year. Maybe this year, they'll have a flat one for 1000 and under.
tvlmom Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 I got a 52 inch phillips for 799 plus 100 back from phillips whoo hoo:D
hoits2000 Posted October 3, 2006 Author Posted October 3, 2006 Thats what I'm talking about. I definitely would have gotten that. They had a rebate on it too?
jmzupko Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I just got a 56" Samsung HD DLP and I love it! The picture is just amazing.
shrippyshram Posted November 1, 2006 Posted November 1, 2006 I'm hoping to find some premium brand LCDs selling at a major discount this year. For instance, Samsung and Sony. If the rumor about the 42" Sharp for $1299 at BestBuy is true, CC might respond by dropping their own price (they are generally good for undercutting BB on TVs), or by dropping on a competing brand/model. But BB pricing doesn't help me this year, since I'll be at my mom's, and they only have a CC nearby!
Malak Posted November 2, 2006 Posted November 2, 2006 I have a Circuit City right next door to Best Buy. If CC opens at midnight and BB at 5am, I'll definitely be able to hit both! How much do you think a 37" LCD HDTV will cost? I don't care if it has a built-in tuner, I'm getting it for the ol' Xbox.
clkc Posted November 9, 2006 Posted November 9, 2006 My husband and I bought a 60 inch Sony LCD Wega just to watch bears games. The game looks great on it (well except for the Miami game). Go BEARS!!!
conandrob240 Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 I think I saw a 51" for $649.00 in the BB flyer for Black Friday. Check it out.
Jasonlh1 Posted November 10, 2006 Posted November 10, 2006 My husband and I bought a 60 inch Sony LCD Wega just to watch bears games. The game looks great on it (well except for the Miami game). Go BEARS!!! Game looked excellent on my Samsung DLP. Especially when the score was 31 to 13 Miami.
RossMAN Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Anyone else in the market for a big screen HDTV?
dudearino Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 Walmart is going to have an RCA 52" projection for under $500. It is there first secret item.
mecrens Posted November 22, 2006 Posted November 22, 2006 not me...i'll be watching my new plasma (bought at black friday price) & drinking coffee
zebracrackhead Posted November 23, 2006 Posted November 23, 2006 Game looked excellent on my Samsung DLP. Especially when the score was 31 to 13 Miami.Definatly not cool. Crappy playing by the bears, and by bears I mean Grossman, but you know you were lucky.
