jeninpa Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 Any ideas where I can find the cheapest motorized treadmill? My stepmom is on oxygen and I guess they think it will help her lungs to excercise so much a day and they recommended a treadmill. Thanks! Jen
mrn8 Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 Check out Goodwill or Salvation Army. I think the cheapest motorized one's start in the $300-$400 range at Dick's Sporting Goods or Sears.

jeninpa Posted September 27, 2006 Author Posted September 27, 2006 http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=4168635#Similar+Items This one is around $350 with shipping but I was hoping to find her something cheaper, lol. She just spent $230 on a Pulse Oximeter and now this on top of building a house. My dad works and she gets disability so they don't have that much money and once the house payments start probably no money!
hpowers Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 I bought one from Wal-mart for my in-laws. After a few months it wasn't working right so after talking with their support and it still not working right Wal-Mart let me bring it back for a refund. I went to Sears and bought their low end one and it's worked for over a year. I didn't feel that they needed one with all the bells and whistles so it fits them just fine.
hpowers Posted September 27, 2006 Posted September 27, 2006 You could buy a bunch of soda for yourself at Target and then use a bunch of gift cards on a treadmill.
USC Becca Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 PennySaver and yard sales - there's tons of people that meant to excerise and run out and buy a treadmill that turns into an expensive clothes hanger
DrumBumsMum Posted September 28, 2006 Posted September 28, 2006 I just bought one through the local internet want ads for $120.00, it's in great shape. It's about 3 yrs old. Unless you or a family member is going to be truly dedicated to it I wouldn't go spend hundreds of $. Good luck!
