laffnatu
Staples has a 19 inch widescreen LCD monitor now on sale for $179. I'm holding out, hoping for a better deal on BF. It's not like I really need it... it's more like I really, really, really want it.
Rebirth
There should be better deals. But alot of LCDs are different. Some are analog and others are digital. I have no idea what's the difference.

rc9277
I'm also hoping for lots of "free after rebate" stuff at Staples on BF!
cinnamon16201
Good luck if you get one! We bought DD the flat panel they had on sale last BF and when we got it home it had dead pixels. By the time we returned it there wasn't any more. Ended up she found one at Sam's Club and we just gave her the equivalent money towards that one. mrn8
If you go with 19", I'd get standard format. You lose a lot of vertical space with a widescreen. I love my widescreen 20", but I'd still rather have a standard screen.
jamieva
Not sure about Staples but last year Best Buy had a 19" LCD for $150.
Aaron
I've seen some good 17" monitors for around $179 or so - hopefully we'll be able to catch a 19" around the same price.
