We could do a "GottaDeal" campaign if it would help.... once the first ad is leaked we could each send something to our local stations... you have so many members now that some of them would be bound to get noticed. Brad Posted September 15, 2006 Share Posted September 15, 2006 Last year I organized something on the forum where many members compiled lists of contact information for newspapers and TV stations. I must have contacted over 100 media outlets and heard back from only one. Then CNN contacted me, ran the story, and then all of a sudden everyone wanted to do a story. So this year I don't plan to contact anyone. The site (and BF in general) was such big news last year that this year I expect them to come to GD instead of us having to go to them (and that has already started ).
