Guest fun_4_u_nme Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Im going to take a guess, the BF 2006 post will total at 68,417 and the threads will be 3,768. Hey maybe we can have a prize for the closest guess ? That would be cool.
Rebirth Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 3,000+ threads is alot. But I wouldn't surprise if it does. It will be ALOT of repetitions. Thankfully, there are more mods this year than previous years.
Guest fun_4_u_nme Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 What were the totals for last years BF post and threads ???
noehlp Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 What were the totals for last years BF post and threads ???If I am looking in the right area, it appears that the 2005 stats were:3,340 Threads 56,447 Posts

Brad Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Keep in mind that last year, we didn't start getting the real heavy traffic until we had the article on CNN.com on November 1st. This year all those people are going to be here from the beginning once we let them know the site is back up in a week or two.
RossMAN Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 My prediction: GottaDeal.com will continue it's dominance and remain the #1 Black Friday site :)

Marcster Posted September 15, 2006 Posted September 15, 2006 Are there any other BF sites out there? Only imitators, never duplicators! http://s23.photobucket.com/albums/b399/Marcster2005/Smileypad/Yes/trueconfirmed.gif
davidbugs Posted September 16, 2006 Posted September 16, 2006 Do you think Gottadeal will be on YOutube!! Do you think Brad or Rossman will make a Video blog about Gottadeal on Youtube. A prediction will come true.
stationchief Posted September 22, 2006 Posted September 22, 2006 Yup, we're gonna have lots more people here this time around. Every year more peeps seem to come here and become registered users, but last year GottaDeal got some good attention in the news and such. More people know about this site now and what it does, so this year lots more people are gonna be coming to look for early BF ads. Off the top of my head, I'm guessing: 4,500 threads and 100,000 total posts before BF.
