KozyUp Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 my child wants the new ps5 slim for Christmas. But he already has a ps5 and there is nothing wrong with it. What is you guys advice on this. I could always get him the new one and gift the old one to my nephew who doesn’t have a ps5
Brad Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 I'm pretty sure there is no noticeable differences between the new and old models aside from appearance. If anything Sony probably is using cheaper components to cut costs so I wouldn't switch.
hokie7373 Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 The only main differences I saw is that it has a slightly larger hard drive, and it is the disc less version. So if he wants to play games on disc, or watch blu rays or dvds, you have to buy the dad on disc drive,
Kanyon71 Posted October 20, 2023 Posted October 20, 2023 What makes me laugh is the Digital version is only like $50 less, now if you want to add a blu-ray player to it you can for $80 at a later time. Why not just buy the better one and have everything already there for $30 less money?
