ChimChim
Scott - Have had good luck with Maxtor. Have not had too good of luck with WD. mrn8 - I must say the price is tempting How long is the warranty period on that drive?

Might I suggest that you look at Seagate (at the risk of not selling mine ). They come with a 5 year warranty and have been the most reliable drives I've ever owned. ChimChim
I have looked at the SEAGATE 400GB PATA ST3400632A-RK. It's 109.99 at outpost.com I think with the price & the warranty this would be a better choice.
