USC Becca Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 Amazon.com is listing two different 4/4 (full sized) violins for $49.95, originally $199.99 and $179.99 each. Baby Cheapskate Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 I saw that Target is carrying violins, clarinets, trumpets, etc. now! Wonder how their prices compare...
Firemansgal311 Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 My dd was just asking tonight if she could start taking lessons and I told her no because we can't afford the out of pocket on a new violin right now. I guess she is going to be a happy camper! Thanks Becca!
USC Becca Posted August 11, 2006 Author Posted August 11, 2006 so glad to hear it! I loved learning the violin when I was little :) My dd was just asking tonight if she could start taking lessons and I told her no because we can't afford the out of pocket on a new violin right now. I guess she is going to be a happy camper! Thanks Becca!
Great Dane Mom Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 My dd was just asking tonight if she could start taking lessons and I told her no because we can't afford the out of pocket on a new violin right now. I guess she is going to be a happy camper! Thanks Becca! According to the description these are full sized. I didn't click to see if other sizes are available. You may want to have your daughter evaluated to see which size would fit her best. Also, check into renting them if she's serious. We rent one for our youngest and will until she is ready for a full sized.
msluchie Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 Has anyone bought these violins for an adult? I would like to know if they are any good before I spend on them? Thanks.
