jasmom87
We finally have a list of books that DS needs for his classes. They of course want me to use their bookstore (Barnes & Noble) and if I order now I should be able to get used at 25% off. Since this is his first year, are there are other places to buy the books from and are they the same? Thanks in advance.
momofmo
Try the following for real savings on college books:www.campusbooks.comwww.cheapesttextbooks.comwww.half.comwww.ebay.com If you want to pm me I'd be happy to send you the info sheet explaining the ins and outs of saving on books my dd created last year while an RA. I'd put it here, but I don't think it will fit. DD managed to put herself through school AND put several thousand dollars into savings partially because she absolutely REFUSED to pay bookstore prices. She's now teaching in China and just asked me to send the info for her students so I have it handy! Judy
tootsieroll23
Yeah I know someone who gets theirs from ebay and saves them all kinds of money. Apparently college books are pretty expensive.
Ripn
Another way to save is to buy an older edition of the book...they are revised often but may contain very little new material.

shopping mom
We went to http://www.addall.com chose used books and typed in the ISBN numbers and it found the books we needed. We already recieved all the books too. We saved over 60% on the books. I would definitely not buy new.

freesia39
just always make sure you have the ISBN and it's the correct version. changing the version every few years is their way of making you buy a new book.

Karmarose
I love half.com for our textbooks. Just make sure you aren't getting the teachers edition. They sometimes slip that in instead of the student edition.

elena_398
Ebay has tons of college text books as does half.com and amazon.com. When my husband went back to school to further his education, I resold his text books there.
