Guest Frieked
I had gone to this avis lube right near my apartment until they changed owners about 6 months ago. They used to be great but under the new ownership they try to push all this other crap on you that you don't need.
Marcster
Although I have all the stuff to do it myself, I usally go to Wal-Mart. It's $21.95 for a full-service with Penzoil.
Guest Espolon
I do mine myself. I've heard too many stories about the "Jiffy Lube" places leaving the pan plug and oil filters loose. Also, I know exactly what kind of oil goes in and what weight.
Ripn
I do oil changes myself as well...luckily my village takes used oil :) But I see specials for around $20 all the time, just make sure they include everything (including the filter) and not just 5 quarts of oil...some cars do take more. Steakgoddess
Oil gets changed in my driveway. There are ads for cheap(er) oil changes all the time. Just look in a paper, or a weekly coupon mailer that arrives in your mailbox.
biomajor
Midas has the oil change, tire rotation and balance thing for $29.99.
alimfp
We do our own. But I have driven past many different places that change oil and when they are lacking in customers - employees are outside holding signs that say, "Next person to enter bay, $22.99 for full service oil change". That's not too bad. If you have AAA, some oil changing co's give discounts for having them as well.
