Agreed, this is a good deal...

I'm waiting for a deal on their Nuvi though.

Hey Ross... have you played around with adding your own custom POI yet?

Same here. I really like the Nuvi and will probably get that or the next version for my car. I already have GPS on my Axim, but it seems to be prone to crashing right when I really need it to work.

The C330 was what I was looking at not too long ago and it really is a nice GPS. I like the smaller form of the Nuvi and the controls are a bit nicer, IMO. I played with both of them at Best Buy a couple of weeks ago and frustrated the floor-sales guy when I just said thanks and walked away without buying.

Nope not yet. It seems the most popular use for custom POI's are for speed cameras?

Alright what's so great about the Garmin Nuvi?

Haven't you seen the commecials with Yao Ming?

:)

It does a lot more.

Rechargeable

Smaller form factor (more portable)

Audiobooks

MP3

Language translator

Bluetooth. It can actually act as a hands free device in your car.

I'm sure there is more that I'm missing:

Honestly the only feature I'm interested in is the thinner bezel, that's it.

The Nuvi is also "flat." More like a PDA than the C330.

I'm most interested in it being rechargeable and portable.

I also find that appealing.

My Garmin c320 is rechargeable and is somewhat portable, it's like a larger lop-sided softball.
