LuvJoyLunaDawg Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Wow! I see a juice box for about $36 I think! I can't decide what stores to go to first!
Brad Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 The KMart items listed right now are the early-bird specials only. We should have the full ad shortly.
jennsmoma Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Is this for Friday morning or Thanksgiving morning? I know KMART does both. This forum is great and I can't wait to go shopping!!!!!!
kpmdjm Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 did u read the reviews for the juice box on Amazon? They arn't that good. Kris
Brad Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Brad, How shortly is "shortly"?Most likely within a day (no promises though :) ). I'll e-mail the person that sent the list to us and see when he'll get the others.
LuvJoyLunaDawg Posted November 8, 2004 Author Posted November 8, 2004 It's like the video now but less bulky. Have you seen videonow on tv? If the juice box isn't good quality I won't get it, but I want to see how it works in person. I don't like the videonow so I will have to think about it and read some more reviews. I can't wait to see the rest of the k-mart ad!
2dles Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Will the person that gave you the BF ad also be giving you the Thanksgiving Day ad also? We usually hit Kmart Thanksgiving morning too. If you can get the Thanksgiving Day ad too, that would be wonderful. This site is the best!!!
RossMAN Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 I still have no idea what a juice box or videonow is, anyone have a link with pictures and features?
DezaRay24 Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 I still have no idea what a juice box or videonow is, anyone have a link with pictures and features? Here are some links to them. I couldn't find the link one to the JuiceBox http://www.hasbro.com/videonow/ http://www.hasbro.com/videonowjr/pl/page.about/dn/default.cfm Here is the JuiceBox it is about $69.00 and take little cards. I watched it at the store and didn't like it too much. The picture wasn't all that great. The little movies are like $12-17 for one show. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/DezaRay24/juicebox.jpghttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/DezaRay24/untitled.bmp The Video Now player uses CD type disks called PVD's. They look a lot better in my opinion. They are about $69-$75.00 The disks you can get in a one pack or a 3 pack for about $8-$15.00http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/DezaRay24/lskjdf.bmp http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/DezaRay24/browse_liveaction.jpg Here is the Video Now Jr. About the same Price of the Video Nowhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v366/DezaRay24/jr.bmp
RossMAN Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 DezaRay24, Thank you for the brief explanation and links, now I get it :) Very cool toy. Also welcome to the forums, we look forward to more posts from you :) Ross
elena_398 Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 I bought my son and daughter the videonow color system. My neighbor has one and its very good quality. Small screen, but for trips, this will be great! Walmart and Walmart.com has the cheapest PVDs for the system. They have reduced the pricing right now temporarily. Their systems are only $62 right now too. You also get 5 jewel cases to safely put away the PVDs. I bought my son the orange one and my daughter the pink ones.
DezaRay24 Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 I got a blue one for my son for Xmas He has the Black and White one but that one is no fun not being in color LOL. Kmart had a one day deal for $42.00 so I took the ad to Walmart and had a price match done on my layaway. I wonder if Black Friday will get it down cheaper than $42 Also right now Toys R Us has $2.00 off any Video Now disk. They have some as low as $5.99. I think I'll sell the black and white on Ebay, but I will keep some of the disks since the new one plays both.
CrayZMama80 Posted November 8, 2004 Posted November 8, 2004 Right now our WM here in town has the video now for either 54 or 56 dollars.. can't remember exactly. It's a pretty good deal if you are looking to get one of them for someone on your list. They really gotcha since you have to buy their media to use in them. Money adds up as you have to keep purchasing their disks. I think they would of been better if you could just of used a dvd in them. But that's how business goes and they probably would of been at "least" a hundred if that was the case. Cute little machines tho.
genoandkiddo Posted November 12, 2004 Posted November 12, 2004 Okay, anyone checked out the new kmart website, looks alot like targets. MMMMMM!!!
