Shipping Deadlines

I am noticing a lot of sites posting shipping deadlines that are MUCH earlier this year - because of Covid and shipping delays. Some deadlines are as early as Wednesday the 9th!

Green Monday (free shipping day) normally falls on the 2nd Monday of December - am wondering if it will be on the 7th this year? Seems like the only way we would get our items in time!

To avoid having to pay for priority or express shipping - keep an eye out on deadlines posted on the sites you are shopping on - you don't want to get your gifts after Christmas. :(

Have you seen any delays in items you have ordered? I have seen quite a few from several sites already.

Yup. Part of my Joann's order is delayed and Walmart PS5 is too. Hoping they don't cancel it but it wouldn't be completely unexpected for them either.

I’ve seen a few people saying the PS5’s were being delayed from Walmart. Mine was an in store pick-up so I was able to get it Tuesday. Fingers crossed that you are able to get it!

No email from Walmart yet but tracking info was updated to site earlier

Posted on Hanes.com today:

Due to holiday delays with delivery carriers and
precautions we’re taking to protect our associates from COVID-19,
we can’t guarantee delivery by December 24th unless you
ordered by December 6, 11:59 PM, EST.
Our current delay is approximately 7-9 days.

That's today, folks! :(  Sure home everyone has their packages already on their way!

One of the ornament exchange packages was shipped 11/25, and it still shows In Transit.  I guess it just depends on the route it takes, but it's funny to me how some things arrive so quickly while others sit out there for eons.

The ornament finally shows available to pick up as of today!  I was quite sure it was not going to get there, and I was already trying to figure out how to file a claim!

  • 2 weeks later...

Macys, MonogramHub, Nordstrom, all placed first week of Dec and nothing. I received a tracking number on Dec 12 for Macys but never a pickup can or anything. I ordered multiple things but this is crazy. If you didnt have it or needed to cancel I would have preferred it was done that week and not a day before Christmas..... I cant really be upset as I knew it was a strong possibility this would happen but 90% delivered so I guess I will call it a success.

All my stuff has appeared. I do have an Amazon gift on the way that's been stuck at label created since Dec11 and seller claims was collected by USPS. Even had a replacement item sent out last Friday and that arrived yesterday, wasn't really expecting it before Christmas
