yeah the watermarks...

I don't know maybe it's just me, but it feels like another website wants some notoriety for the ad.

The ad is actually difficult to read because of it on some of the pages.

Ugg...darn Michaels.  Cricut Air 2 is the same price as it was as last year.  It's that price for the last month...was hoping for a better deal than that :(.  Maybe Joann Fabrics will pull out something better!!!

The 30% off your entire purchase coupon (sale items included but doorbusters excluded) makes for some pretty good deals. I don’t go out shopping in store until Friday but I might place an order on Thursday with in store pick up so I can utilize the coupon and then stop in to pick it up while out and about on Friday.

May have to go for some yarn...

Do you have advice for a beginning teen who is making scarfs of which of those pictured might be what she would need? She literally learned two days ago and is loving it. I don't have a crafting cell in my body.

Those storage solutions look pretty good. The cart on the last page is basically the same price today if you order online and pick up in store ($52.49 vs $49.99).

If she is just beginning then I would go with a traditional “worsted” weight yarn and not go too expensive while she is learning/improving her skills. The Loops and Thread Impeccable that is listed in the ad for $1.99 would be a good option. Over time it will be a good idea for her to learn to work with different styles and weights of yarn (also do this on the cheap because this is for practicing) so you could maybe pick up some Charisma style for $1.99 or the other options at $2.99 if she is a fast learner. Solid medium tone colors are easier to learn on but if she seems to pick up on things easily ombré or variegated color yarns can be very fun for scarves. No matter what you do, keep the receipt, as she will quickly learn what she does and doesn’t like, as yarn is a very personal choice unfortunately.

You are very welcome, always happy to help. Feel free to post here or message me if any other questions come up. I know more about crochet than knitting but have done both so can help with basics.
