I received an email today from Gottadeal that read Amazon is matching Target's annual sale by having their own "buy 2, get a 3rd free offer" and they are even adding toys into the mix. They have a big selection of movies, music, books, toys and video games that qualify for the offer for a limited time. Free shipping with Prime. Don't have Prime? Get a free 30-day trial, otherwise get free shipping on $25 or more.

So, I went to Amazon and put 3 videos on cart and it didn’t discount the one free video. Has this not started yet?

It doesn't show the discount in your cart. You have to click on "Proceed to Checkout" and then you will see it. It worked for me.

I just called Amazon and they said they didn’t see a promotion on buy 2 get 1 free and there was nothing they could do to help. Grrr!

Usually pre-orders are excluded from deals like this. I'm pretty sure they are for Target's sale.
