That means that it is completely flashable with 3rd party firmware for tons of features. If you are a power user looking for a new router, this is the one to get. I'm already considering ditching my Netgear Rangemax because the interface is for people who know nothing about networking and the range benefits aren't applicable if you don't have the Rangemax network adapters. That doesn't help at all for my Axim.They aren't going "back" to it. They just kept making it under a different designation and charge more money for it. It isn't often that you can get a deal on them. I looked for weeks and couldn't find them on sale anyplace. And you won't find the GL version in B&M stores for the most part either.
