Michael's Easter Clearance

I need to find 750 plastic fillable eggs for next year's egg hunt. I did find 50 at Target for 19¢ the bag. A poster on an AOL board suggested I look for them at Michael's. Does anyone know if Michael's has a markdown schedule for holiday clearance, and if they go to 90% off?

I am unsure if they have a schedule or not, but i know withother Holdays they have gone 90% off. Good Luck finding the eggs!

the Kmart's around here just had tons.... but as of last Thursday they were only 50%

Michaels seems to take longer to go to 75% and then 90% clearance than they used to, but they do eventually get there, at least the one here.

I went to Michaels in Jax (san Jose) and the stuff was 70% off but to the best of my raggedy old memory, I don't think they had any fillable eggs. Actually they only had one small display case that was basicially opened/broken/incomplete items. I think Target had a lot of them (if you are in Jax, it's Target on San Jose) but that was 2 days ago so I'm not sure if they would still have some. Target is pretty good about checking for availability before you make a trip to the store. Just ask to be transferred to the Seasonal department. Oh, and at that time, they were 75% off but I read another post that said that Target was down to 90% now. WooHoo, nothing better than "almost" free.

I noticed the other day our Dollar General has plastic eggs (and all Easter items) 50% off right now.

Hobby Lobby goes to 90% pretty quick. I bought a ton there last year for $.09. Good luck!

I just got back from Michaels. Their Easter stuff was clearanced to 90% off - they had a few baskets, some grass and lots of eggs.

LOL, no. I'm not the Easter Bunny. But we have about 50 school aged residents who take part in our egg hunt, and I hate telling them "You can each only find five eggs" or some such. So, if I can get 800 eggs, they can really fill their baskets without me worrying about some kids not getting any, kwim?

Well, the Gator Town Michael's was 90% off of Easter, but no fillable eggs left. I'll try running by JoAnn's and CVS tomorrow and see if they went 90% off yet.

Mine was 70% off yesterday. JoAnn's was 70% off yesterday and mine had a lot of eggs left. My Walgreens didn't have anything left. Have you tried the grocery stores? Good luck!
