becca0884 Posted April 4, 2006 Posted April 4, 2006 Thanks! Just be sure that your location is participating!! There are several B&J in Dallas area, but if you look at the location guide, it states which ones are not participating.

randycorb61 Posted April 19, 2006 Posted April 19, 2006 Oh Happy Day! Tuesday, April 25th is Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry's, and you know what that means... free ice cream for you! As a way to thank our customers for their support and to celebrate 28 years of scooping the chunkiest, funkiest ice cream, frozen yogurt and sorbet, Ben & Jerry's scoop shops are giving it away! Around the world, scoop shops are opening their doors from noon to 8:00 pm, to serve up a free scoop of your favorite flavor (or better yet, a new one you've been wanting to try, like Turtle Soup™, Peanut Butter Swirl or Lemonade Sorbet). So grab a pal and come on down to have some 'scream on us! Like we said... Oh Happy Day!

Guest stopme Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 What a rip! My mom was watching my kids this afternoon so I suggested she go to one that was listed as participating. Instead of a "free cone" they were giving out small "free samples" and asking for a charity donation as well.
clemsonsuzi Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 That was the best ice cream I've had in FOREVER :D :D Appley Ever After (Brown Sugar Ice Cream with a Ginger-Caramel Swirl and Apples) tasted just like eating Apple Pie! Had to stand in line about 10 minutes to get it. But after a hard day's work () it was sooooooo worth it. (Mine was a regular one scoop cone. They too had charity people with donation cups there for Habitat for Humanity and for a Katrina Relief Fund.)
freesia39 Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 OH CRAP THAT'S TODAY!! i don't think i'm going to make it.
Kayakmom Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 The line at ours was long but moved very fast. We got to place our order as soon as everyone figured out what they wanted. We actually had to let people go ahead of us. They had about 10 people working. The place was MOBBED with teenagers, lol. We had our choice of cone or cup. I chose Lemonade sorbet. It was excellent. I got it in a cup and it was a nice big scoop. I brought my kids and the neighbor kids, too. They had a good time!
brynnfromtheblock Posted April 26, 2006 Posted April 26, 2006 We got full size cones, no long lines, no problem I had Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Hubby had Cherry Garcia and the girls had vanilla, strawberry and chocolate. They had a blast, we picked them up at school and told them it was backwards day... we went straight to B and J's for icecream and then went home and had dinner.
