Which means that it's nothing to get excited about. If you really want a Dell, you're probably not going to do much better than this. For a Dell deal, the specs are surprisingly balanced. About the only thing you NEED to upgrade is the battery. But they definitely jacked up the pre-sale price and a comparable system could be had for a couple hundred less elsewhere, albeit without the Dell name. Any thoughts?This is a great deal and I love that it's fairly loaded and not barebones like most under $800 laptops. I bought a Dell Inspiron 700m almost a year ago and use it at least once a day. Maybe $50-$100 less, but you'd have to send in a rebate. I do wish that they offered Windows XP MCE with this one. Not sure why they aren't.
