msomnipotent
I went to our local Menards a few days ago, and half of their patio furniture area is Christmas. They have more Christmas decorations than Halloween at this point. I love Christmas, but it is 90 degrees out here. Come on!

We go to a Christmas store here called Bronners and that's enough for me until later in the season lol.
riven3d
Sam's Club is the same and it was an employee that pointed it out, our store had a whole row of Christmas items and only 1 small section for Halloween
Bopeep
Well, to be fair, there are a lot more ways to decorate for Christmas so it takes more shelf space. Yes, I'm making excuses . Seriously, though, I just don't have a problem with them putting the Christmas stuff out early. I always say I can enjoy Halloween and Thanksgiving, all while enjoying Christmas .
Kanyon71
Come to think of it when we were at Sams last weekend they had a bunch of Christmas ribbon and stuff out.
HanShotFirst
I enjoy it all too Michael's is already practically cleaned out of Halloween and their fall Knick-knacky decor items. They still have tons of fall flowers but not much else. Glad I got what I wanted for fall from them already. I'm honestly ready for the outdoor Christmas decorations to begin appearing though so I can figure out and budget for what I want this year, if anything,

HanShotFirst
One of the two Walmart stores here has some Christmas stuff out in the Garden Center. The trees are out on display, plus lots more. Shelves were cleared out to make way for all the ornaments, lights, etc. There was still a few aisles of all the back to school things but it looked like associates were marking them down to clearance prices.

msomnipotent
I love that snowman. Now that I think about it, I did see outdoor icicle lights and bows at Costco last month. It just didn't register with me. I think if I would have seen the snowman, I might have bought it.
tracy0504
Kmart, yes there are still a couple open in my area, has some of their Christmas trees and decorations on display...right next to the end of summer "deals" on gas grills and lawn chairs... wittenlover
Much as I love Christmas, it seems like retailers are rushing us through the year faster and faster each year by bringing things out earlier and earlier. I just wanna scream "SLOW DOWN!!!" sometimes. The year flies by fast enough for me as it is! lol That said, Meijer is already starting to get stuff out. Our local Walmarts have had stuff out for a while. I don't have a convenient Menard's to me (compared to the other stores), so I couldn't tell you what our local one has out (or not) yet. HanShotFirst
The Lowe's I frequent is starting to get some Christmas decorations out. Mostly the outdoor decorations. No trees yet. I've already seen one thing I'm dying to have but I'm going to have to resist. [emoji16] I love campers.

nicole20
I am so excited to see all the Christmas decorations. I need to get a new tree for my upstairs so now I have time to look around all the stores to find the best deal and cutest tree. stewarta4
Well, folks I made my first Christmas decor purchase of the year at Hobby Lobby yesterday! Just some glittery floral picks for my tree...I'm planning on buying a couple of things a week from here on out to add to my current Christmas decor as I haven't added anything new in several years.

I didn't notice anything when I was in the one near me today but then again I didn't wander around too much, had some things I needed to get and just grabbed those. I know the Home Depot I go to has all their decorations out now.

I know the Home Depot I go to has all their decorations out now. I'm in Ann Arbor area, Kanyon. The one closest to me was starting their set up over by the garden center, as usual. Looked like they already had an aisle of light sets (not Halloween) and they were working on an aisle that had some wreaths up, so likely those were going to be joined by other evergreen things. Haven't been back in since - been a busy weekend.

I will be in there one day this week to pick up camping supplies for the weekend so I will have to make sure I venture over that way. I'm in the metro Detroit area (Sterling Heights/Clinton Twp is the store I go to the most).
