duckbrain
I had gotten a Walgreen's Gift Card from a mail-in rebate...I want to use it on some items that will be FREE after rebate...I was wondering if anyone knows if I can buy those items on the Gift card and get the rebate added to my Gift Card when I send the info in? If this has been addressed before, sorry! I just would like to continue getting free items on this card in an endless cycle!! Heehee!:g_laughinCan it be done?! USC Becca
yep, you can do that. You'll just need the the number on the back of your current GC and the new rebate amount will be added
duckbrain
Nice! I didn't know if the receipt would give me away but if it doesn't matter! Thank you so much!
Rockfordmom
Yes you can use your rebate gift card to pay for items that will be free after rebate and when you fill out the new rebate form at the top is a place to put your gift card number that you want your rebate applied to. duckbrain
I recently got my gift card recharged but it's a little less than I thought...Are items like Glade gonna send a separate check for rebates or should they be reflected with the total also? I might just call the 888# on the website...
forsberg
Certain rebates don't get added to your current gift card, particularly the ones in which you buy $20 of a certain product and get $10 back. Those rebates are sent a separate gift card. They usually mail them a few weeks after your gift card gets recharged.
duckbrain
Thanks...I bought the Wisp scent thing and a Glade Scented Oil Holder...I guess I'll see those rebates later...Thanks forsberg!
firebird
I love recharging my card because I get my credit so much faster than waiting for a check or new card in the mail.
duckbrain
To get the card originally took awhile, but recharging it this month took about a week! It IS fast! Right in time for APRIL!

Karmarose
So can I opt to recieve a gift card even though I don't have one. Do I have to go get a gift card and give them my number with my rebate? I've never done it with the gift card.

I've never done it with the gift card.Yes, you can either get a check or get a giftcard and once you have a giftcard you can get a new one each time or have them apply the balance to the giftcard that you already have. If they put the rebate on a giftcard (new or one you have already) they give you a 10% bonus too.
duckbrain
Also with what Rockfordmom said, when you send in your receipt and completed easysaver form for the rebates, you have the option to get a gift card from the start. That's what I did last month, and I'll be using this solo giftcard from now on.
