Bopeep Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 Has anyone ever ordered from Daily Sale? Are they pretty reliable? I know they are owned by Amazon, but so is Woot and I did not have a good experience with them. I ask because they had the Copper Chef pan set this weekend for $39. I bought the same set from QVC last month for $70. I went ahead and ordered the one from Daily Sale with the intention of returning the QVC, but I don't want to jump the gun if I'm not going to get my order or if it's likely to be something other than advertised. Thank you!
cjdav Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 I do not have experience with Daily Sale either, but, I am hoping this is an actual Copper Chef product as I just ordered two. 1
Bopeep Posted November 1, 2016 Author Posted November 1, 2016 Well, it's been over a week and my order still says "Processing". That does not bode well for this company in my opinion. Maybe I'm just impatient. At this point, I'm really glad I didn't go ahead and return the set I bought from QVC.
cjdav Posted November 1, 2016 Posted November 1, 2016 My order is still 'processing' also. I had a similar experience with a recent Woot order. There was a long (and worrying) delay between the order being processed and shipped. It did, though, ship and arrive in perfect condition, and, exactly as ordered. I think AmazonPrime has spoiled me! 1
cjdav Posted November 4, 2016 Posted November 4, 2016 I received an email that my order has shipped! 1
Bopeep Posted November 4, 2016 Author Posted November 4, 2016 I did too. Hopefully it has. The tracking # shows the label has been printed, but FedEx hasn't received it yet. The Daily Sale website still says "processing". 1
Bopeep Posted November 8, 2016 Author Posted November 8, 2016 Still haven't received the pan, but I have a feeling I will be returning it if it ever gets here. When I ordered it, the picture was of the Copper Chef pan, including the recipe book that clearly says "Copper Chef" at the top of it. Now, reading the Q&A section, they are saying this is NOT Copper Chef. The brand is "As seen on TV". Of course, they've changed the picture. I remember specifically seeing that recipe book, because I was looking for something that would tell me if it was Copper Chef or not.
Kanyon71 Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Been there with some purchases from places in the past. Never fun.
cjdav Posted November 15, 2016 Posted November 15, 2016 Just received the pans. The brand is Copper Pro (not Copper Chef). I bought one for myself and one as a Christmas gift. I may try mine out immediately before deciding whether or not to return the other.
Bopeep Posted November 16, 2016 Author Posted November 16, 2016 I received mine today as well. I was actually buying it as a gift, so being unsure I'm going to return it. Let me know how it works for you.
cjdav Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 So far I have cooked pasta (using the basket strainer), mashed potatoes and eggs. I have no complaints, so, I think I am keeping both. Good luck! 1
