amula Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Walgreens has their 6.8 oz Vaseline Intensive Care Nightly Renewal lotions on sale for $1.99. There is $1 coupon from Walgreens March Easy Saver Catalog and take another $1 off from the manufacturer's coupon = FREE lotion (plus tax). I was able to get 6 free lotion bottles in one transaction :) (Cannot post link for manufacturer's printable coupon since I do not have enough posts yet. But if you go to Google, type in ALLURE, VASELINE COUPON and should be the 1st or 2nd hit)
USC Becca Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 thanks! I never notice these kinds of deals (at least not without GottaDeal's help!)
bizzyangel Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 I was just there yesterday and I had a coupon but didn't think they were on sale. Thanks for the post.

forsberg Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Thanks!! I don't think I saw this in the weekly circular!
Rockfordmom Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Does Walgreens let you use a easy saver coupon and a manufacturers coupon? I know you can use Walgreens ad coupons and manufacturers coupons, I just assumed the ones in the easy saver catalog were manufacturers coupons. Thanks for sharing the deal!
amula Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 The sale was not in the weekly circular, but you will see them on the shelves when you go in for $1.99. And yes you can use easy saver coupons with manufacturer coupons :) Just got back from Walgreens and got 2 more free for family members!

I ask because I've already been to Walgreens 3 times this week and don't want to go again this week!! Are they OK with coupons printed off the computer? Yesterday I bought 4 of something and used 2 coupons (B1G1Free) and she said that there was a limit of 1 coupon per purchase and wouldn't take one of them, they have never told me that before. All coupons say that and I wasn't trying to use 2 coupons on the same item, I bought 4, I thought that it meant you can't use 2 manuf. coupons on one item??? They also have Clairol Herbal Essences shampoos & cond. 3/$10 ($3.33 each) and a couple of weeks ago there was a coupon for B1G1Free in the paper so I got a shampoo and cond. for $3.33 which I thought was a good deal. (not as good as free, but still a good deal)
threelittlecupcakes Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 So what exactly is an easy saver flyer? If it is not the one in the paper or at the door, where will I find it? I normally don't go to Walgreens but will for a good deal.

Also there will be a vaseline lotion coupon in this weekends paper....
kansascityshopper Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 I just got back from Walgreens and found the Vaseline lotions on sale, but I couldn't find the Nightly Renewal lotion that the online coupon is for. I wonder if it's so new that not all stores are carrying it yet?

I just did it myself at Walgreens for the new DoubleMints...I always get 2 sets of coupons, so that's why I always have doubles.

I bought 4 and used the Walgreens 2/$1 coupon and then when she scanned the manuf. B1G1 coupons she gave me one of them back because I could only use 1 per purchase she said. But she did take off 79 cents instead of the 50 cents (because of the Walgreens coupon) so I didn't make a stink about it, I just went back to Walgreens today and got some more and used the other coupon. I think that she is new there, I just won't go to the cosmetics counter to pay anymore.
forsberg Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 To answer the question above, Walgreens does accept internet-printed coupons. I've redeemed them many times there.
lecomptek Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 Thank you! I shop at Walgreens all the time and try to get all the deals. I am thrilled to find out about this one.

I know you can use Walgreens ad coupons and manufacturers coupons, I just assumed the ones in the easy saver catalog were manufacturers coupons. Thanks for sharing the deal! I have used manufacturer coupons and Easy Saver coupons and 7-day coupons all for the same item, it's great! Also, I never have a problem using internet printed coupons. Guest RedStateGirl Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 What a great deal, these would be great for teacher gifts etc. Thanks for the heads up!!
agusia Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 I just came back from Walgreens and the lady at the register said that they can not accept those internet coupons because they got email from Unilever that those Vaseline coupons are fraudulent. Does anyone have the same problem?
Rockfordmom Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 Where did you print your coupon from, the one I printed was says powered by COUPONS.com on it and looks like other coupons that I've used before, I have not been back to Walgreens to use mine yet. Do companies usually email stores and notify them of things like that? I will let you know if I have any problems but it sure looks like other coupons that I have used.
amula Posted March 10, 2006 Author Posted March 10, 2006 subscriberdirect.com/allure/0603/adv_index.cfm You can print a coupon from this website. The website is credible and I would think the coupon they are providing would be too.
agusia Posted March 10, 2006 Posted March 10, 2006 I printed mine from the ALLURE website search like you explained. I was really surprised about the whole thing I never have any problems with internet coupons. She even talked to the manager about that and he said something about the value being changed. I'm still puzzled about that. Oh well I will not make the trip again so I think I will just pass this time.
lecomptek Posted March 11, 2006 Posted March 11, 2006 I got mine last night and used an internet printed coupon. No trouble. I got it from the site mentioned in the first few posts on this thread.
daysgirl Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Thanks OP! Here is the link from Allure - http://bricks.coupons.com/Bstart.asp?tqnm=tclnbyb1296269&bt=wi&o=7691&c=VA&p=jL5am9vQ&xpsp=xpsp2 I found a $1.50 off coupon in Sunday's coupons!
Mommy2Parker Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 Just wanted to ask, since there are coupons in today's paper for the lotion and I got 2 papers, are you allowed to use 2 seperate Easy Saver coupons for the lotion with the 2 manufacturer's coupons, in one order? Or would I have to do multiple orders? Thanks in advance if anyone knows...

Mommy2Parker Posted March 12, 2006 Posted March 12, 2006 You only need one easysaver coupon and your two manufacturers coupons. The one easysaver coupon will deduct from both items.Oh really? Because I thought it said "Limit 1 Item Per Coupon" on it? I'm still pretty new to all of this...
Rockfordmom Posted March 14, 2006 Posted March 14, 2006 I got 2 today, and the easysaver coupon took $1 off each bottle and when I handed the cashier the coupons printed off the internet he was checking something and I asked him what he was doing & he said that he had a list of fake internet coupons but those weren't on the list so he accepted them:) but then I went to Walmart with a coupon printed off the internet they would not accept it:(
threelittlecupcakes Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 How long does the easy saver book run for? Am I too late?
