hpowers Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 I just read the reviews. I've blown $20.00 on worse things. I wonder if any of these people tried changing the thread. Cheap thread really doesn't work well. If nothing else I'll take it back to Sears since shipping is free, I'm really not out anything.
Spa Mom Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 If you really want to use a sewing machine and not get frustrated trying to sew. Skip this sort of thing. It is a toy. But a good priced toy nun the less.

Spa Mom Posted March 9, 2006 Posted March 9, 2006 I have several sewing machines, embroidery machines and a serger. (I had one similar when I was a kid, but it was Holly Hobby - still have it in the box, it never worked) I have seen these little toys in the store. Children have a short attention span and if you don't give them the proper tools to work with they will not want to continue. Sewing is a blast!! I have also taught Children to sew with machines and by hand.
