toninjack Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Does anyone know when they should go to 50% or even better 75% off? I would like to get a couple, but not at 30% off.
hpowers Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 I noticed Wal-mart is marking theirs down also.
toninjack Posted February 24, 2006 Author Posted February 24, 2006 I noticed Wal-mart is marking theirs down also. Do you happen to remember how much they were marked down there?
hpowers Posted February 24, 2006 Posted February 24, 2006 Sorry, I didn't. I will look the next time I'm there which is usually every other day.
dot2x Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 Target in Las Vegas have them at 50% off already.
ccarson1972 Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 I was at my Target tonight and they are still 30% off.
toninjack Posted February 25, 2006 Author Posted February 25, 2006 I was at my Target tonight and they are still 30% off.I bet they aren't marking them down just yet here because it is suppose to get cold again.
fairydustcrissy Posted February 25, 2006 Posted February 25, 2006 I bet they aren't marking them down just yet here because it is suppose to get cold again.Believe it or not, Target doesnt work that way. If Vegas stores have marked them, others should within a week. I have noticed that Target markdowns tend to be company-wide, with a few exception.
drmad7 Posted February 26, 2006 Posted February 26, 2006 Thanks fairydustcrissy! I was Target Easton here in Columbus and they are still at 30%. I keep checking for the 50% price. Everytime I'm in the store, I scan almost everything in my cart. Of course, this is while I'm perusing the endcaps in every section. And I'm sure they know me by now-"the tall Black guy in the cowboy hat is in in here every week walking down the back aisles!".

jadedmomof2 Posted February 27, 2006 Posted February 27, 2006 They've been 30% up here for awhile, I was waiting for them to hit 50% and then picking up a few. One of the rooms in our house doesn't heat well, so it would be nice to have a little space heater in it.
blssed2bme Posted February 28, 2006 Posted February 28, 2006 I just went to Target in Minneapolis and they have one brand of heaters that have been marked down 75% off. It's the Ceramic Heater by Home Fusion. It's in a red and white box and it comes with a bonus heater. It was originally $39.99 but it's marked down to 9.98. This wasn't the price yesterday so they must have just marked this brand down. The rest are still 30% off. I just bought 2 today.
fairydustcrissy Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 I oculd use a heater right now.. it's freezing! But wasnt it nice the past couple of days? LOL. I know that doesnt make it any better now though.

Aaron Posted March 4, 2006 Posted March 4, 2006 But wasnt it nice the past couple of days? LOL. I know that doesnt make it any better now though.I've been home sick all day with a feaver, so it's really cold in here but to everyone else it's just normal..
Dork42775 Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 Arer there ever any discounts on the kerosene heaters at Walmart? I would like to have one just in case the power ever goes off. Thanks
jedigirl21 Posted March 21, 2006 Posted March 21, 2006 I bought 2 ceramic heaters at 30% off at Target about 4 weeks ago. I noticed they had sooooo many, but stayed at 30% for a long time. I figure they are much cheaper to run (electric) and help to keep a few main rooms of our home at a decent comfortable heat level. It's better than bumping up the thermostat just to heat the main living area of the house. By the time they went to 50% at the store most of them were gone.
drmad7 Posted March 22, 2006 Posted March 22, 2006 Target Easton in Columbus had only about 10 fans left and they were still 30% last week. I figure they'll be gone by the time it gets to 50%. They must be on to me only clearance-shopping!
Dork42775 Posted March 23, 2006 Posted March 23, 2006 I looked at my Super Walmart here in Asheville, NC and they have kerosene heaters marked down from $118 to $75. I havent done the math but i am guessing that is 35 to 40 % off and these are their highest BTU models. Like i posted earlier i just want one for just in case the power goes out but i might occasionally use it.
drmad7 Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 I went to my local Goodwill and found one of the Target heaters (still new in box) for $8.99! It was one of the oil-filled radiator styles. It wasn't the kind with a fan but for an original price of $50.00, I figure it was a great deal for less than $10.00.
drmad7 Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Went to Target yesterday. Whitehall, Ohio (Broad Street). They had most of the furniture at 50% off. I bought 12lb containers of ice-salt (in the shaker containers) for $2.48 each. Stocked up for the rest of the season and next winter. I also bought 8-packs of the GE Reveal lightbulbs for $3.15 a pack. I will be going back today to get some more of those!
elena_398 Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 I have two kerosene heaters and two electric heaters. Also one propane heater. I don't want to tell my husband as he went nuts buying them in the last two years! We don't need anymore! LOL
biomajor Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 My Target has the heaters for 75% off today. They still have about 20 of them in various sizes.
threelittlecupcakes Posted March 24, 2006 Posted March 24, 2006 Mine were 50 to 75% off depending which ones you bought. Northern Minnesota.
Dork42775 Posted March 25, 2006 Posted March 25, 2006 My Walmart had the $118 reg. price 23,000 BTU heaters marked down another $25 to $50 even today.
