jroyster86 Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Anyone know what the best deal is going to be on a KitchenAid mixer? I'm thinking of going for the one at Target but now sure if I'm missing a good deal somewhere else.
bribri25 Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Anyone know what the best deal is going to be on a KitchenAid mixer? I'm thinking of going for the one at Target but now sure if I'm missing a good deal somewhere else. Way too many to list here. GottaDeal has so many awesome tools for us, including search. Find it here:http://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/search.php Type in kitchenaid or mixer and you'll get a good set of results. You'll need to decide on Classic vs. Ultra vs. Artisan. Kohls is always a good bet. 5% w/RedCard off at Target is pretty good. As well as a few others, depending on where you'd want to shop.
Jen08 Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 imo, I also agree that Kohls is probably the best place.
bpr Posted November 25, 2015 Posted November 25, 2015 Also depends on the model you want. I have the 600 Pro series that I got for $230 after $50 rebate and a gift card I used on it. If you have access to the military Navy Exchange, they are going to have the 600 Pro for $339 before the $50 rebate making it $289. The Artisan will be $259 and $209 after $50 rebate. If not, Kohl's is an ok deal especially if you get Kohl's cash with it. Best buy has the Artisan for $224. I don't know what the 'Ultra' model is at target. No specs on it. It may be a lesser Artisan version (maybe smaller motor or less accessories; I couldn't find much on it. Not on KA website; probably a Target exclusive). Good luck. 1
jerica388 Posted November 26, 2015 Posted November 26, 2015 Target ultra is 4.5 quart capacity and 300 watts for power. The Artisan has a 5 quart capacity and runs on 325 watts. One more difference - the Artisan comes with a pouring shield. The ultra does not. I will say that I use my Kitchen Aid almost daily (for over 8 years), and I have used the pouring shield exactly two times.
Stowasser Posted November 27, 2015 Posted November 27, 2015 just make sure you get one with a bit of power or it will bog down with doughs (cookie, bread etc)
