dealluvr
i think i had one from marshalls or something. you know the old fashion sugar comtainers ,some places have them yet at restaurants. they are glass about 8 inches tall with a silver screw on cap. it is kind of like that. i was trying to explain it but i'll try to find a pic. they are a pain in the as-i think

mrn8
I use the one from www.stashtea.com. I love it. I probably use it 4-5 times per week. Sometimes a lot more if I'm making coffee for company. You just put 2T of coffee gounds in, pour boiling water over them, steep for 2 minutes, press, and then pour your coffee. That one makes 1 coffee cup full. I use it for tea, too. pgrunner
Who uses a coffee press? How do you use them? How do they work? Where do you buy them?I don't know if you're still looking, but I got my 4-cup coffee press at Ross for $6.99. I use it for steeping coffee and tea. Works great for both! Rockfordmom
I think that Rachel Ray uses one on 30 Minute Meals on Food Network, maybe their website sells them or has a link to somewhere that does, but it would probably not be a great price. trob67
do a search for a french press. that is what it is called. starbucks sells an 8 cup one for 30 and world market has two or three sizes. I know someone has one that is more insulated which is better if you use the larger size. However, you could always take the coffee from the french press and dump it into a thermos/insulated carafe......much cheaper probably!
