Ipods are just pocket sized ipads.more for music and taking pictures .Atleast thats what my kids used them for.

bripoe Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 My girls are 18 & 21 and got the ipod nano several years ago (4th or 5th generation) One of them finally shot craps, so we are getting another one........7th generation. They use theirs strictly for music..........therefore we dont need the ipod touch! They both have tablets and laptops if they want to get on the internet & they dont need to take pics with it! You can get a refurbished one thru apple for about $99. If you buy a new one thru them I believe it is 139.
