BFNinja Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Here they come. I wish home depot would be next.
hack2222 Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 (edited) Make sure to grab a reward card for some of the deals ahead of black friday. Yay found a few good deals there. Edited November 1, 2014 by hack2222
bpr Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 So they look to be starting their sale on Wednesday? See local store for hours. No real doorbusters like they usually do (not that I shop there; just an observation). Weird.

Back a handful of years or so you could get a few good deals there but I don't see anything this year worth going for.
jaymacfla Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 I saw that (starting Wednesday). Back a handful of years or so you could get a few good deals there but I don't see anything this year worth going for.I usually go for their free paint giveaways and Velspar paint sale.

Weird. It looks as if they are trying to blur the lines and not offer anything by offering standard fare/discount loss leaders during the entire week. Bad move on their part.
mcwalker Posted November 2, 2014 Posted November 2, 2014 (edited) Until 2011 Ace used to have a few items "Free after Rebate" but they stopped that in 2012. I miss those as I have made very good use of some of those items, but its understandable that free items can only go so far. Probably the best deal in the ad is the 50% off one item under $30 coupon. That discount matches or beats the discount on most of the advertised items. The coupon says "Limit one per household" but I might try to get a few of these and use them at more than one Ace store (and pretend not to know my wife and daughter ). There are usually a few small tools or hardware items that I can use. Edited November 2, 2014 by mcwalker
Tara3117 Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Last year they had a 20% off one item coupon that I guess they aren't offering this year. I got my dehumidifier with that coupon. It's perfect for that stuff you know isn't going on sale (especially in November). However, my husband did ask for those halogen lights, so I guess I'll be making a stop there. I would rather shop a small business like Ace than Home Depot, it's just not as convenient of a location.
