Guest stopme Posted January 14, 2006 Share Posted January 14, 2006 Our Target was down to one-half aisle and some endcaps. I think they went to 75% yesterday. We got there about 8:30 this morning so it was empty and stocked up on gifts for kids' birthday parties. Got a bunch of Hot Wheels motocross things for $2.48 and Barbie CD players for the same price. And the Holiday Cinderella Barbie for less than $10 (regularly $39)! Ours had a whole bunch of Care Bears story bears, and I bought two, but I'm a little worried because NONE of them seemed to work when you pressed on the foot. I'm hoping that they couldn't ALL be defective. My son also go the Yoda doll that I think is really cute but that we need like a hole in the head. There's tons of Bratz and Trollz stuff but I think it's all way too ugly. I also stocked up on sweatpants that will be my daughter's uniform next year for Kindergarten.($2.48) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
inluvstill Posted January 14, 2006 Share Posted January 14, 2006 I went back to our target today and found most of the toys gone but now igloo softsided coolers with 2 cup holders were marked down 50% and LOTS of clothes were down 75%. Got one of the horse sit on chairs for toddlers for $7.50 (originally $30). I didn't really like that one so I headed over to the next one and exchanged it for the snowman one which is really cute and my daughter liked it too. I am Target addict! I even drove over an hour to the second Target in my area and they didn't have them either. That the the books to that darn Care Bear are now non existant on clearance. queenofshopping Posted January 17, 2006 Share Posted January 17, 2006 omg im so happy i read this thread, yesterday (sunday) morning i went to one of the nicer targets around me & there was a solid amt of stuff left that i browsed thru (including those care bears but only the purple one was left) & just as i was about to give up finding anything i could use, i spotted a lone copy of the scene it turner classic movies pack - for $5!! i almost died, i was so happy - gave it to my mom who LOVES tcm interestingly tho, after that i went to walmart & they had a ton of clearance (it was a total mess tho), including the tcm & hbo scene it packs, but for a very stingy $15 - i hate wm clearance Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I am worried things may bounce so I am just waiting for all our money to come in next month and start paying things off.
