pinkdecorator Posted August 14, 2014 Posted August 14, 2014 We're looking for a pillow top/mattress topper for a dorm room bed. Overwhelming shopping for one and they are spendy.Trying to find the best deal. Anyone else been in the market for one lately who has found the best deal for a middle of the road quality one? Thanks in advance! 1
AndreaInNC Posted August 15, 2014 Posted August 15, 2014 They are all about the same price. If you have someone who is truly on a budget .. tell them to watch Target when they start marking down college stuff. They normally only carry Twin XL for back to school - so everything if it lasts will go down. I was able to pick up Twin XL comforters last year for less than $5.00 If you need to buy them now - they are all priced pretty much the same. Don't waste your money on one of the thin ones. 1
AndreaInNC Posted September 29, 2014 Posted September 29, 2014 now is the time to pick up one from Target .. my DD swears it's better with two than just the one.
Stowasser Posted October 3, 2014 Posted October 3, 2014 Target had the toppers I believe 50% off for single beds
kardomr Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 we bought one at target last weekend...and just saw nearly the same thing at sam's club for less. still expensive but less.
Elmck Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 The best deal I found was at Kohls but I wanted a thick one. They put the 3 inch one on sale and if you can get the extra 30% off I am sure I spent between 30 and 35 because we got it for DD last Christmas from my inlaws and that is the limit that they spend.
HansieDZ Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 I just bought two yesterday at Sears for 75% off an already reduced price.I paid $3xx for a full sized one and $2xx for a twin. They were the egg crate kind (can't be more specific as I have them hidden already for Xmas presents). 1
