If you don't already have an account you can sign up for this popular savings account using the link with this deal.

ING Direct is FDIC insured just like other banks are but since they are a .com with no physical branches there is little or no overhead. Savings are therefore passed on to their customers - that would be you. No minimum deposit, No hidden fees or service charges and get 24-hour access to your account.

ING Raises Orange Savings Account Interest Rate to 2.10% APY - ING Direct

Discuss the deal in this thread.

RossMAN
For those of you who are weary of INGDirect.com (an online bank), rest assured they are FDIC insured just like other traditional brick and mortar banks are. However they have significantly less "overhead", passing on the savings to their customers with better than average rates. Brad
Seriously, this is a great account to have. I've been holding off until now because I'm poor, but I think I am finally going to sign up.

colossus
I recently got an ING direct account. The interest rate is spectacular, plus the couple day layover before getting my money makes it easier to pass on large purchases.

Even if you save $20 every 2 weeks it sure does add up.
