ieschiabr Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 I saw this code earlier now I can't find it, I hope i'm posting in the correct forum.
hpowers Posted December 21, 2005 Posted December 21, 2005 Saw this posted elsewhere and wanted to share! HTH---Free Holiday Activations! There are FREE activations until 12-31-2005. The free activation can be done online or by phone. To activate online: http://activate.xmradio.com Activate by Phone: 1-800-XM-RADIO The Promtion Code: XMHOLIDAY
scot26505 Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 I helped a friend activate her new radio today. She called the 800# to activate. They couldn't get the codes to work (XMSCION03 - free activation and 3 months free service, or XMHOLIDAY ) but told my friend they would work on it after the call and she would get the promotion one way or another. I highly recommend, if you are buying one and there is any way to activate it NOW, I would not wait until after Christmas. I have a feeling they are going to get slammed big time after another million or so people get radios on Christmas Day!
hpowers Posted December 24, 2005 Posted December 24, 2005 I didn't have the codes when I signed up and 2 days later I sent XM a reply to their "Welcome" e-mail and they are crediting my account for the free activation. Not bad customer service!
Missy Posted December 27, 2005 Posted December 27, 2005 Just called to activate ours and they used both codes for me as well -XMHOLIDAY- and XMSCION03 with no hassel. I just saved over $50 dollars. Thank you all very much.
jessicaw Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 Everyone watch there statements for there credit cards! I just saw my bank statement, and even with my codes and chosing to pay monthly, i was charged 38.85 and i am very upset. I don't think i've ever dealt with worse customer service as with these people! I tell you one thing, if it dosn't get better and quick, this thing is going back to the store.
Missy Posted January 2, 2006 Posted January 2, 2006 I didnt even give them my credit card #, the rep i talked to was very good, and told me everything would be mailed to me and i could choose then if i wanted to pay thru mail, or online by credit card. Im sorry you are having a bad experience but im sure if you call customer service they will credit your acct. back, and fix things for you.
scot26505 Posted January 3, 2006 Posted January 3, 2006 The first time I got a bill from XM I thought the same thing, but when I called them, they had charged me for three months service (quarterly billing),
vucikn00 Posted January 13, 2006 Posted January 13, 2006 Does anyone know of any new codes for free XM activiation?
