queenofshopping Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 afaik it's kind of like what one would expect at marshall's, big lots, or odd job...my parents have been but i never have, i was actually planning to go this week
Kayakmom Posted December 19, 2005 Posted December 19, 2005 Ours around here is pretty junky. I must say, however, that I bought a decent rug in there. They also do have some brand name toys, so if you don't mind wading through the junk you might find some good deals. I haven't been there in a long time (probably a year) because I'm not keen on wading through the junk and there are many other choices here, but if there's something you want there, it's probably worth it. DO NOT buy DVDs there. I bought some a while back and they did not work. I believe they were pirated.
bykerladi Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 There was some ok stuff in ours, but the prices were comparable with Walmart, so its not worth going. Plus, be VERY careful what you buy - despite their posted policy, NOTHING is returnable to this chain. And a hint - if you're a woman, bring a man with you, since the managers won't acknowledge a woman but will be nice to a man.
