cthulhu Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 How does this compare to other notebook cordless optical mice? I've been thinking of buying one.
RossMAN Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 Chris, I love my Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical Mouse because it's so comfortable and was on sale for $19 @ CostCo. However battery life isn't that impressive and my biggest gripe is the USB receiver/dongle. It's L shaped and doesn't stay securely attached to the bottom of the mouse. After reading this review of the Logitech V200 and seeing this picture, I am SOLD. I just ordered this mouse and cannot wait to hook it up :)
RossMAN Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 Of course if the Dell 700m laptop offered internal bluetooth then I would get a BT mouse but those aren't as cheap.
cthulhu Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 Thanks Ross, you've sold me. I'll be buying one when I get home.:)
RossMAN Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 Thanks Ross, you've sold me. I'll be buying one when I get home.:)LOL originally I didn't plan on buying this, I was just doing some research. After reading the glowing Amazon.com customer reviews, that review, the battery life and seeing the dongle, I was sold as well. I'll be paying for it with my wife's Amazon CC which earns triple Amazon points. Yarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

cthulhu Posted December 16, 2005 Posted December 16, 2005 Crikey, that's a great idea All you need to do is clear with my wife I can't speak of Mrs.B, but my wife usualy shoots those types of ideas down.
cthulhu Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 Oh Joy! The mouse came in a day early! Thanks UPS.
RossMAN Posted December 23, 2005 Posted December 23, 2005 I still haven't ordered mine yet as I might be selling my 700m How do you like it?
cthulhu Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 How do you like it?It's nice. From the pic I thought the usb receiver fit into the mouse but it attaches to the bottom of the mouse. It seems to be real responsive. I need a nice felt bag to keep it in.

SlyGirl Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 I have the microsoft bluetooth mouse and the cordless keyboard as well. I love the mouse, but the keyboard goes offline too much and PIA to get back online. The only think I have a problem is with, the transmitter, I seem to break them too easily.
cthulhu Posted December 25, 2005 Posted December 25, 2005 How secure/snug does the USB receiver fit?It seems to be very secure.
