brynnfromtheblock Posted December 9, 2005 Posted December 9, 2005 We have a big party every Christmas Eve... about 20 adults and 20 kids... need game ideas for both groups individually and together... we have a bunch of prizes so bring on the ideas!! Last year we did a left right game with the kids (pass presents around until the end of the story and you get what you're holding then). Also did a musical present.. unwrap when the music stops.. if you get a box rather than wrapping paper.. you win!! What else!!
queenofshopping Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 we always have fun playing things like outburst & scattergories, especially in teams...there are lots of those dvd games now too (like scene it) in terms of stuff you dont have to buy (or dont have to spend much on), perhaps pin the tail on rudolph? lol
daworths8 Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 We play guesstures, its pretty hilarious when a number of people are drunk trying to play this:D
kandstweedy Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 Hello! When I was a child our whole family would play Bingo!!! It was so fun! We would have a bag of prizes for adults and one for kids, they were all wrapped and you just reach in and grab one! I would like to start that up again with my family!! The prizes did'nt cost that much it was just fun to see what you got!! :)
jedigirl21 Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 "Rob your neighbor" is always fun. Say there are 20 people in a group...you write the #'s 1-20 on separate pieces of paper and have each person choose a number out of the hat. The first person (#1) chooses a gift and unwraps it. The next person (#2) can either choose a new gift to unwrap, or steal #1's gift. If he/she steals, then #1 gets to choose a new gift. Kinda hard to explain but I'm sure you've heard of it. We also make a rule that each gift can only be stolen 3 times. We play it every year w/a group of 40-45 and it's the most fun of the evening.
daworths8 Posted December 10, 2005 Posted December 10, 2005 We do that too! We call it DIRTY SANTA:gd_devild
