hillbillyswife Posted November 8, 2013 Posted November 8, 2013 When taking your Christmas card photo do you A. Do only the people that live in the house? Maybe some of the kids moved outB. Included all children even know they all don't live at homeC. Include all children plus the one they live with? ex. BF, BG etc D. Don't do any pictures LOL
LCPanther1975 Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 Both my kids are still at home (dd is fixing to go to college) but we always do a good picture at Thanksgiving for our cards, so I guess that will continue to be the tradition. I wouldn't include significant others until they are married, if they live with them, then maybe they will do their own "family" cards.
tinkrbel Posted November 9, 2013 Posted November 9, 2013 When we do photo cards we always include everyone. It gets complicated with the number of pictures sometimes but we always find a design that works
speeddiva Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 (edited) I've been married for 26 years and my MIL still doesn't allow me in the family picture LOL I like the new collage ones you can do. Maybe one of the at homes & separate shots for kids who have moved out. Edited November 10, 2013 by speeddiva
HomeinKS Posted November 10, 2013 Posted November 10, 2013 When my oldest moved out I quit sending family pics out at Christmas for a few years. This past year I did send out pictures including the kiddos still at home. With us it is generally a picture that I include with the Christmas card. I like the collage idea for a card.
