I am looking for a decent one...reliable

Without astronomical prices on ink.

And preferably under $100

Where should I look or what have you seen?

HP PSC 1401 All-in-One Printer, Scanner, Copier

$49.88

Check your local Walmart to see if they have any instore if you don't want to pay shipping. I bought mine yesterday in the store. Haven't opened it yet, as I have been on this stinking computer WAY TOO much!

Oh, and the ink costs are good, it uses HP21 & HP22. HP21 is around $14 and HP22 is around $17 at walmart and staples.

And this all in one did have good reviews everywhere I checked.

Good luck

Patty

Patty is right.

I would get anything but Lexmark/Dell since their inkjet cartridges cost a lot.

I looked at a Lexmark last night and was appalled at the price of the ink...

The HP looks pretty good...Still open to suggestions! Thanks!

HP, Brother and Canon are all good brands.

You don't need fax capabilities right? Just print, scan and copy?

Fax would be nice additionally, but I have one...its old...huge, but works well for the little use I need it for...would be nice to ditch as it is huge...

Oh Ross....you're making me want a 4-in one...DARN u!

Fax is nice but we rarely use it and that feature usually adds $40 - $60 to the pricetag.

yeah....I think I'll stick with the honker of one that is so huge, my inlaws thought it was another OLD printer.... lol

Get this one ya'll...I went to Walmart to look into that printer thats talked about above, THEY WANT 60 BUCKS MORE!!! WTF? If I order online, shipping is only 5 bucks. hmm....guess what I'll do!? I have a $10 office depot GC so maybe I'll look there too....

I really like the one posted above....Hubby does too...He was hoping for a canon... He says he trusts that brand more....I think cause its ink cost half of what the new one would cost.

Hey, I bet you were actually looking at the HP PSC 1410, it costs around 100. The one that is 49.99 is HP PSC 1401. (Oh, and the two models look darn near the same!) There is not much difference between the two models, btw. Just call your store and ask them if they carry the HP PSC 1401 and what there price is. Good luck, and let us know.

I have a $30 off $150 purchase at Office Depot email if that would help out. I'm not sure what one you're looking at right now, but if you want the email then just let me know.

I have a Brother mf210c that I'm very happy with. It doesn't like low quality paper; ink is reasonably priced.

When you say low quality, are we talking the paper at Walmart thats 2.50 for a ream?
