beth_m Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Does anyone know where I can get a good deal on a good quality down comforter. My Mom really would like to have one for X-Mas, but I can't see paying several hundred dollars for one. Thanks
alimfp Posted December 5, 2005 Posted December 5, 2005 Overstock has one for $59 You could go to the Online Hot Deals forum and see the sticky and ask Overstock Adam for a better deal as well maybe. JcPenney's has them for under $100 as well And finally, see this link for more great deals! If you buy one online, make sure to look for a coupon code first (or ask here and someone can find one for you hopefully).
adewrell Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 Tuesday Morning usually has really nice ones around $50 or $60 as well.
gisellerol Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 WELL SEARS HAS SOME ON SALE RIGHT NOW IN NICE COLORS TO TWIN/FULL$29.99 QUEEN $39.99 AND PILLOW SHAMS $4.49 STANDARD
jeffNangie Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 Smartbargains.com has several for $40 and up..I think they have a deal on shipping, too. If they don't right now, they usually run the .99 shipping at least once a week or so..
mrn8 Posted December 6, 2005 Posted December 6, 2005 Head over to Overstock.com and pick one out. Then, go to the Overstock make your own deal thread and request a deal on the catalog number of the item you find. Within a couple of days, Adam should be able to offer you a deal on it. :)
pinkroses4mommy Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 smartbargains has one on their Wednesday only sale for 24.99 http://bedding-and-bath.smartbargains.com/down-bedding/classic-all-natural-feather-filled-comforter-show.sb
Junebug2 Posted December 7, 2005 Posted December 7, 2005 We bought one on Overstock two years ago and it has been the biggest piece of !!! We do all of the care you are suppose to with the fluffing, etc. but the feathers are all stuffed in the edges. We even bought one of the more expensive ones with the hungarian goose feathers and baffel boxes, etc. Very disapointing!!!
