Brad Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 It's been working fine for me all day. What was the problem? Maybe you were still seeing the effects of the server move if the domain had not propagated on your end yet.
Zim Hosein Posted September 6, 2004 Author Posted September 6, 2004 Brad, I was on-line last night here w/ out any issues. Starting around 6:45PM EST today, all I received was the page cannot be displayed when I clicked on the forum link off the main page till about 8:30PM when I started this thread
RossMAN Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 I had problems yesterday and this morning, it finally propogated this afternoon. Zim - GottaDeal.com web site and forums moved servers this weekend.
Brad Posted September 6, 2004 Posted September 6, 2004 No clue. Like I said, I haven't had any problems, and I've been checking it all day (we also have posts on here from all hours today - so it must have been up for others as well). It must have been some lingering DNS problems on your end. Hopefully it is all resolved by now :)
Zim Hosein Posted September 6, 2004 Author Posted September 6, 2004 Well let's just hope it was an issue for me here in NYC, I'm addicted to this site!

Waiting 48-72 hours is a major hassle and PITA. However I may have found a solution, a third party DNS provider. Imagine changing web servers from Florida to New York and the DNS propogates in 5 minutes :)
