Was anyone else charged shipping?

I got to the end and was charged for shipping so I didn't get it.  I was sending it to my mom as a major hint, but I don't want to throw away $6 if she just tosses it.

Got mine - but I ordered on 8/11 and there was no shipping... hubby hasn't quit smoking with it - but he does enjoy being able to lay in bed and puff on it (as I don't allow smoking in the bedroom.)  Freaked me out when I first walked in and saw him using it!

I ordered early too and wasn't charged shipping .. but I know they had an overwhelming response, so I guess the free shipping didn't last long.  Mine came last week.
