pjohnson55
Early in the a.m. yesterday, I checked out the BB site, just hoping they would screw up, and post their doorbusters. They did, the Panasonic PV-GS31 camcorder, for $249.99 down from $399.99. After giving a yell, I grabbed my credit card, quickly bought two and received my confirmation email. Later, when the "official laptop thread" figured out the workaround to order the laptop, I also bought one of those, but felt pretty sure it wasn't going to pan out, and received my "order cancelled" email today. I've been waiting for my "order cancelled" email for the camcorders, but instead I received "Status: 2 item(s) shipped via GROUND on 11/25/05 via UPS"!! I am so psyched! I don't even think they would have let me buy TWO if I had been there in person.

Mine doesn't, but I'm not too worried. NO, I just tried it. BUT I'm not too freaked out. I work for the Post Office, and I'm betting that they've prepared these to be shipped, therefore we have a number, but that they might not get into the system until Monday. I assume they are using UPS, and they might not even download their scans until late tonight, since they work so late.I tried to buy the camera, (the Kodak, right?) but it was sold out at the time. I went ahead and tried, just in case, but I received my canceled email for it.I read in another thread that someone called BB, about the fact that they accepted all these orders, then canceled them, and I think the person told them that there were either 60 or 30 (I can't remember which) items that were on the website, and not supposed to be. I WAS going to call and complain if they canceled this one, because it didn't say anything about only being available in the store, but I didn't expect it to win the argument, so I'm thrilled. Early Thanksgiving(about 2am) the camera appeared on Best Buy, didn't say available in stores only or anything, so I added it to my cart, and I was paranoid last night it was going to get cancelled, but I came home after shopping today and checked the status, and said it had been shipped!
