noitammus,

You know what pissed me off?

People "holding a space" for 3-4 of their friends, WTF? I can understand relieving each other for bathroom breaks, a coffee run or something like that.

I wish there was some "BF code of ethics" that people adhered to, of course I'm just dreaming now.

That's just not right. We had my daughter going back and forth for us all to go to the bathroom and she got drinks for us. I would have knocked some noggins if they had jumped in front of it at WM.

But we all were lucky, we got everything we wanted. We were there at 315am and staked out what we wanted. I sweet talked some guy into handing us 2 desktops back to us. Even though I really was first in line, I let him get in front of me just for that reason. :g_thumpsu

I went to bb around 4:30 am... i know it was late but i figured since l went around the same time last year and was in the upper half of the line, i figured it would be the same... how wrong i was!!!!! Got there, and security was horrible i stood in front of the door watching the action inside, it looked absolutely chaotic! When they let me in, i marched straight to the computer/laptop section! The Geek squad guy stopped me and asked for my ticket, i said i never got a ticket... He said well sorry that means we're sold out. I asked him how much did they have to give, and he said... 12 LAPTOPS!!!! Well i had some choice words for him, but i was livid and lost all motivation for the laptops. What a way to ruin someones weekend! Needless to say i left within ten minutes! BB blows!!!!

We left home at 11 last night, got to best buy at 12:30 and there were already some 30-40 people in line. The first one got there at 7:30 PM! We setup a "bed" for the girl in the back of the van and DH and I took turn waiting in line in the COOOOOLD, boy it was freezing. I must say that a guy about 10 spots behind us came prepared, with a space heater! At around 3am BB started playing Christmas music (and loud at that I was afraid they would wake up the kids LOL) The donuts and hot chocolate were nice but we did not get the laptop we came for, we got the e-machine for the girls so we did not do it all for nothing. We left the line after getting the tickets around 4 and attempted Walmart for their laptop, off course no luck there (not ath we really expected it).
