mesarobins Posted November 26, 2005 Share Posted November 26, 2005 All I wanted from WM today was the Leap Pad plus Writing System, since I didn't have anyone to stay with my kids to get there early morning I thought no big deal I will shop online. WRONG! Got up at 5:30a logged on and the EB price is not showing - kept refreshing periodically, tried getting all the way to checkout with out actually submitting payment thinking the price might update there, NOPE! Finally at 7:35a a friend came over to stay with kids while I slipped out to the Wal's - greens and mart. Scored one of the portable DVD players at Walgreens - YEAH. And they still had some of the Leap Pads at WM. Turns out I spent more money than if I had stayed at home, PM'd a bunch of DVD's, but I think I am done shopping at least for the kids. :) By 8:00a in WM there were less people than on a normal weekend day and bunches of cashiers just standing around waiting for someone to check out.
