Gloey Posted November 23, 2005 Posted November 23, 2005 Why do they do that? I mean you could be first in line and by the time you find the hidden goodies they could be gone! That doesn't seem right to me.
Vancouverite Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Because they want you to go to the store and buy other things. Bait and switch!
venerdinero Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 Because they are called DOORBUSTERS for a reason, to get bodies through the doors. The items are gone because somebody else who went to the store just like you happened to locate the item first. It doesn't seem "right" to you because you were first in line. Had you been tenth in line and happened upon the items first, you would think it was a great system.
saturnboy01 Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 because they like to see people run through the store like crazy people!
sigrist_2000 Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 too make you see something else you may want or needed...so you spend more!! and to make you look crazy too...lol
missyjane Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 If they put them way at the back I'm sure they do it so that you have to go through the whole store to get to it and grab something else. Like the milk and bread at the store ---ours is all the way in the back so honey always walks the ice cream aisle.
Rebirth Posted November 24, 2005 Posted November 24, 2005 The lines are setup so strange, you have to walk around the boxes so there's no cutting in line.
