shopping mom Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 I was in TRU on Saturday. I finally decided to get my two year old the little tikes kitchen, and there were no tickets. I asked an employee about it and she checked the computer. They were suppose to have three on the floor. Well, another employee, said he would find it for me if I wanted to wait. I said sure and 10 minutes later he has my kitchen. I thanked him and told him I would see the manager and tell them how helpful he was. I did and she was glad to hear it. Two of my kids work for Chik-Fil-A and when someone say something nice about them it is always rewarded somehow by the owner. I hope TRU does the same . Have you had a similiar experience?
alimfp Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 That's great!! I always always always make a big deal about wonderful customer service. I have dealt with such terrible CS, that anything above and beyond the call of duty (even just a little bit) deserves praise in my opinion! I've even praised McDonald's workers. One lady really went out of her way once, I made sure to remember her name from her tag and then called McD's the next day and told the mgr. He said she would get a gift cert to a store as well as employee of the month. WOW!
daworths8 Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 I had one today on the phone! I was calling EVERYWHERE too see about these Xbox 360's. Horrible attitudes from at the stores ALL DAY, they would hang up soon as they heard Xbox, THEY ARE GONE 'click' Well hubby did get in line for one, while he was there I was still calling places looking for accesories for it. Called my last place Hastings a book/video etc. place and the guy I talked to Steve was extremely nice, I even forgot to ask him about something the first time and called right back. I know these times can be rough around holidays and these special events with these game systems on top of it BUT that is their job. I cannot stand when they get rude. Lady at Walmart in customer service last week snapped at me when I asked her a simple question about price adjustments. I started looking around like this is customer service right? I do make sure I let them know how happy I am when they go out of their way.
CG480 Posted November 22, 2005 Posted November 22, 2005 You know that is so nice. Most of the time you only hear people complaining about an employee it nice to hear when some one does good.
