I was wondering if BB was the cheapest for this bundle. Anyone think a better deal will be here before Christmas?? I was hoping to get away with just the 3ds but my son really wants the 3ds XL. He has the original original ds, so DH figures if we're going to buy him a new one we might as well get the latest and greatest for the not so much extra cost.

I believe this will by far be THE best deal on this item before Christmas. I have been asked to put in an order for three already! Everyone I talked to agreed that the 3DS XL is the way to go instead of the smaller screen and the $40 off was the clincher. Especially with the Mario Kart despite the fact that it only comes in blue. You will also earn Reward Zone points if you buy from Best Buy, which can add up for future items in the future. I had already bought the regular 3ds bundle from Walmart and it will be going back.

I say go for it! :yup:

Thanks! I figure we can buy a skin since blue is not his first color choice. I was just wondering if there was any other place to buy, but the reward zone adds to the sale already, didn't think of that. Guess we'll have to click the buy button!

Yvw! I am getting one for my daughter and she wanted pink, but since it will be in some type of case I figured she will get past it. Or we'll probably get a Skin It skin or something too. She wont really care as long as she has a shiny new 3DS "XL" system. Just couldn't pass up this deal.

Ok well I got the exact same one from Toys R Us for $199 plus a $30 GC plus a free stylus. So $30 GC making it $169 then having the game already on there that usually cost $39.99 and a stlyus that is $11.99 (free). Heres the thing though I have $90 worth of GC from Best Buy that I could use on this purchase. Should I take the other back to TRU??

I would. Even with the CG from TRU its still more than BB (not including the amount for the stylus). The $90 in GC from BB clinches it, that makes it $69.99 before tax! TRU comes to $158.99 before tax if you are counting the GC and stylus.

I saw the 3DS XL in the ad, but it didnt advertise that it came with Mario Kart.

Oh yeah...the Mario Kart one wasnt advertised. If you click on the advertised link on the BestBuy.com homepage it doesnt even come up. You have to put it in the search or look under all 3DS consoles.

Wpw the 3D with Mario Land is cheaper than the price they had on Black Friday! Thanks for the link! We'll be testing out Target's online retailer price match since we paid $149 on BF.

Thanks for posting this, I returned he one I got at walmart and was able to pick this one up today. The one I returned wasn't a bundle, just the device only. How important is the SD card? My son has had DS's now for the last two years and I don't think we've ever used a memory card. Any insight on this? Thanks

Well it comes with a 4GB Secure Digital card, so you should be good for a while. The card is really to help save the eshop game data. So I wouldn't worry about buying another SD card right now. :)
