Mommy2Four Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 My father-in-law has everything he could want. Every tool, movie, gadget etc. What he doesn't have, he buys the second he thinks of it. He is difficult to buy for. I need help with an idea. About him: he's a farmer, he travels often, eats out a lot (loses gift cards...they are out), he scuba dives but my brother in law owns a shop so he gets whatever he wants, military lover, movie lover, boating. Is there anything out there that is a GOOD "bought in your name" gift. I'm really at a loss!
siczlo Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 I have relatives like that. I send them Omaha Steaks. Do they have a favorite sports team? Something with the logo always works. Tickets to a show or concert maybe? Magazine subscriptions?
mgmckny Posted November 25, 2012 Posted November 25, 2012 Donation to Wounded Warriors or something like that in his name??
AndreaInNC Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 My stepdad is the same way .. whatever he wants, he buys! I bought him something like this http://www.pocketbottles.com/products I loved it cause he can freeze it and have cold water that day - and with the clip, it fits on his backpack or belt loop.
Elmck Posted November 27, 2012 Posted November 27, 2012 If he is retired military, like my dad, I have gotten him a throw with his branch of service a folding chair and a ring (that he wears all the time!)
