Amazon is killing me

I used to love shopping amazon.com until today. I had a huge cart filled with stuff for my kids Christmas and went to check out and found out my account was frozen for a dispute I'd never placed. Never found out what it was about but I did email them and they did take off the hold and also erased all my cc info and my prime membership so I just needed to verify my email and change my pw, which I did and placed a new order. Everything seemed fine and then an hr later lo and behold my damn acct is frozen again. Of course amazons lovely customer service can't help me. I have to email them the cc address and billing info, which I've already done. They claim they've escalated this but view heard nothing back and I can't get into my account and order anything. I received 9 emails asking for the address and phone number that matches the cc statements. They said something doesn't match which is bs. It does match. I used the cc with them just last week with no issues. Has anyone else ever had this issue with amazon? My problem is they have really rare things I can unfortunately only buy from them and I don't do eBay.

Yesterday I was making purchases on Amazon with my Discover CC and received an email that my CC had been declined. Discover decided they needed to freeze my CC because they suspected fraud. Hubby had to call Discover and clear it up. I understand the CC companies need to protect themselves but couldn't they call and inquire.

I have an amazon related question about delivery.

Today somewhere after noon but before 6 I got a package-- and we just found it at my GARAGE DOOR.... it isn't a long (nor a dangerous) walk to my front door. It is well lit, landscape lights, plus lamppost ... I've never had an amazon delivery at my garage! I don't want them to start doing that.

My husband said it was windy maybe it blew down there, it is a light package...it got pretty windy here in the past 2 hours..It isn't necessarily shorter to go to garage..not in 5 years--ever!..

.what do you think, why would they put it there? and they'd have to walk past BOTH the vehicles we had outside--that makes me uncomfortable...were they looking in our cars/trying to see if they were open--or had christmas purchases inside.

Just made me uneasy..

Just an idea, but maybe it was a sub driver that did it. I've had some left at our house by the garage before but our regular guy comes right up to the door.

Thanks, I asked my hubby another 10 questions about it lol (he's the one who found it) and he said it was standing vertically neatly by door, so I said to him "then I am sure it wasn't BLOWN down here!" I mean when do things get blown by wind and land upright and neat..

I feel a little better that you mentioned a sub driver. . . I was wondering if they were peering in our cars

yeah, I can understand your concerns. I know sometimes if its windy they will leave things somewhere where they think it will not blow away from or there could be some other reason why it was left there and also, now is the time when temp drivers and helpers are out. Could have been your regular ups guy but a temp helper with him that left it there. :)

Well Amazon blows. According to them I have numerous accounts with my same name and address, which I do not, never have, and therefore they've now closed my account. No other explanation. I've called customer service so many times. They cannot even access my accont to tell me anything, only email their account specialists, who only email me automatically generated emails. I will NEVER shop amazon again. I'm taking all of my christmas shopping and other shopping elsewhere. This has me unnerved now.

I agree with jakesmommy and I'd also check with your cc company or whatever you use to pay for your items on there to see if there has been any suspicious activity going on.
