well we had a thread going last week for the people going to wait in line for an xbox 360 someone said they were going to buy 10 but just to let you know specifically said in the target paper today that it is limit 1 per customer :rotflol:

Was at Walmart today and they guy said that they are handing out tickets starting at 10pm on the 21st and that each store only has 14.

 

Also there will be no lay away available for it

I was at the WM in Derby, KS today and they already had 4 people in line at thier layaway counter (starting at 8 a.m. this morning) for the XBox 360. Thier store only got 40 and they'll start selling them at midnight tonight.

I saw on Best Buy's website to go to your local store or check the site for availability at midnight, so it's possible they MIGHT have some available online.

I am in the Houston area. My husband is in line right now waiting. He is number 3 in line (got there at 1:00 pm this afternoon). Our Walmart has 14 -- 2 premium and 12 regular. He is disappointed that he won't get a premium but is happy to atleast get the regular 360.

I can only imagine someone walking out with 10 in there cart. They would more than likely not make it to their car.

i doubt the stores would have them in stock from now till xmas, i say wait another 3-5 months, if you want to be desperate, they have some on ebay for atleast 600(core) to 1000(premium). Im just going to wait till the PS3 comes out and reserve it.

Actually, more will be arriving in stores this week. But if you want one, you better get there the same day. Places like EB and Gamestop have thiers pre-ordered already. Those places wont have any for walk-in customers till Jan at least

 

Amd what makes you think the PS3 will be any different? Well, besides being more expensive. Sony has ALWAYS had this issue at launch. ALWAYS.

I didn't have any issues at the PSP launch at all. I got 3 of them without a single preorder and NO dead pixels.

 

We preordered the PS2, but that was a long time ago.

no, the xbox will not drop in price until E3 next year

While I think you're right that the MSRP on the actual system won't drop until E3, I think we'll start to see some better priced bundles/standalone systems before then so you don't have to shell out all the extra cash for the extra crap you don't want/need.

My suggestion is to call...everyday. Within a few hours of when they are rec'd, they will be gone.

I preordered the system at Game Crazy and a bundle at Toysrus for a backup. They only received 9 at Game Crazy and I was #15, so I had to buy the bundle at Toysrus that came with 6 games my son doesn't even want for a lot more $$. I hope Game Crazy gets another shipment, so I can return the one to Toysrus.
